Mark 2 Sabbath
How often do we turn the words of scripture into black and white rules of things we can do and things we must not do? Sabbath is yet another example for God knowing us best and knowing what we need and generously giving us a day of rest out of His abundance to provide for us. But we miss the rest all too easily when we try adn put boundaries around what is right to do and what is not right. It is a day given to us by God, let us be thankful and celebrate this one among many gifts of life and provision that God gives us throughout the week.
