3. Thankful for almost 4 hours sleep in the middle of last night.

4. Thankful for getting out in the sun, to tescos and the park.

thought for the day

Psalm 150 – great words to live out at the end of the church year as we prepare for Advent and a new year of hope in the coming King. This past year may have been a year of joy or a year of mourning. It may have been filled with unexpected invitations to draw closer to God along paths we would rather not have chosen. But whatever this year has held it has been held by God and known by Him.And so through the laughter and lament we can still praise God; not for the circumstances but for who He is and we can step confidently into the new year that He is and will be with us. And He is worthy to be praised.

Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens!

Praise him for his mighty deeds;
    praise him according to his excellent greatness!
 Praise him with trumpet sound;
    praise him with lute and harp!
Praise him with tambourine and dance;
    praise him with strings and pipe!

Praise him with sounding cymbals;
    praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

thought for the day

Psalm 149:1-5

Praise the Lord!
Sing to the Lord a new song,
    his praise in the assembly of the godly!
 Let Israel be glad in his Maker;
    let the children of Zion rejoice in their King!
Let them praise his name with dancing,
    making melody to him with tambourine and lyre!
 For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;
    he adorns the humble with salvation.
Let the godly exult in glory;
    let themsing for joy on their beds.

I had the photos in order but the computer seems to have rearranged them so in no particular order:
