The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.
These are hard words to trust right now. As I said to Mark last night we are trusting in God who cares and provides in ways that are not of the world and yet we are living in a world that has set ways of working and expectations, many of which make sense but the tension between the two at times is palpable and hard. But He is good. But there is a big difference in His shelther and refuge and one that requires rent payments each month. He cares but what does that look like when life is not secure and comfortable and without pressures.
So what does it look like for us today to remember that God is good, that He is a refuge in times of trouble and that He care for those trusting in Him however faltering and wobbly that trust can look.
