Genesis 9 Noah and the rainbow
The rainbow was given by God as a sign of the covenant He made with Noah extending to us that He would never again send a flood to destroy the earth. What are some of the signs and symbols we have in our own walks of God’s faithfulness to us? For some of us they may be readily to hand, others may be sitting at the back of shelf and long forgotten. And as we remind ourselves of them may we be reminded of the greater truth they represent, of God’s faithfulness to His word not to destroy but redeem life.
God demonstrated His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
