Discipline your children, for in that there is hope,
do not be a willing party to their death.
So often it is in moments that require discipline hope seems furthest from my mind. This is especially true when things are spiraling and all seems lost as it is. And as with yesterday’s reminder of attending to character and heart, discipline is not about making the outside better; though it can have that appearance; it is about the heat and character. It is about that which ultimately matters, our children and their walk with God, not what the neighbours think of us.
